North West Europe: Eligible Activities
Three types of projects will be funded – Actions, Investments and Studies. ‘Action’ projects will have to achieve tangible results and may entail some minor investment e.g. the application of principles of co-operative spatial planning; establishing co-ordination mechanisms and other arrangements for transport policies. ‘Investment’ projects will create the visible ‘hardware’ for further and lasting activities mainly devoted to fixed capital/assets and could include land purchase, computerised systems e.g. for historic sites, damaged or degraded land etc. ‘Study’ projects will be exclusively devoted to a study or research relevant to NWE co-operation. Projects may consist of combinations of the various types.
Partnership Arrangements
To be eligible for funding, a project must be transnational involving the co-operation of partners from at least two different countries of the NWE area. For ‘investment’ projects, the project may be implemented in a single Member State provided that a significant impact in other countries can be demonstrated.
Application Pack
An application pack and further advice for applicants is available on the NWE website at www.nweurope.org or contact the Secretariat, contact details on the contacts page.
