Inter-regional co-operation across the whole of the European Union and neighbouring countries, including candidate countries, Norway and Switzerland and the MEDA states.
Strand C is intended to improve the effectiveness of policies and instruments for regional development, mainly through large-scale exchange of information and experience. Public sector bodies in all parts of the UK are able to participate in three different types of operations – regional framework operations, networking projects and individual co-operation projects – on a wide range of topics.
This is one of the few programmes providing UK organisations with opportunities to work with partners located all over Europe.
